Dennis Hanshew


Senior Paralegal Dennis Hanshew holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a Professional Diploma in Education and has worked in family law since graduating Phi Theta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science Degree from a two-year American Bar Association approved legal assistance program in 1989.

Dennis has been employed as a law office manager, a case manager, a paralegal and a legal assistant. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Paralegal Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco, developing educational programs for the membership. Dennis has been a presenter for both the Bar Association of San Francisco and the San Francisco Legal Professionals Association. In 2015, Dennis was the Bar Association of San Francisco's Paralegal Section Member of the Year. Dennis was co-presenter of a workshop on "Domestic Partnership and Same-sex Marriage Statutes in Canada and the U.S." at the 2005 Vienna conference of the International Commission on Couple and Family Relations.

In his spare time, Dennis enjoys travel and the arts.
